Am I Trying To Change What You Believe?
I feel today I should touch on a few things I have been bringing out over the past several weeks and months and maybe explain a bit. When I read the last two day’s posts something came to my mind that maybe I should offer some explanation.
To whomever that reads this blog I want to say that the things I am posting here are not in any way meant to get you to change your mind to my way of thinking. This is not the intent now, has never been and never will be. What I post here is just an attempt at revealing what I feel the Lord has shown me over the past few years regarding the cross. I am not posting here to change your mind on anything. That is not my intent.
On the issue of confession over the past two days, I did not post that to try to tell anyone whether they should confess their sin or not confess their sin. That is wholly between you and the Lord and you do whatever you feel comfortable in doing. I personally am very comfortable with not confessing my sin and the reason for that has hopefully been made clear over the past two days of posting.
What I am trying to show here is the event of the cross and what happened there to all of mankind. The more I look into this from every different angle possible; I see that there is absolutely nothing that was not looked after at the cross. I am trying to show the scope of what happened there in order for mankind to be free from law and religion. I have only barely scratched the surface on many issues but I look at the cross and what our Saviour did there as the total fulfillment of all things in Himself. There was nothing left undone.
We can look at redemption and it was at the cross. We can look at sanctification, justification and it was there at the cross. We can easily find that judgment was at the cross. We can easily see that sin was taken away at the cross. We can plainly see that all prophecy was fulfilled at the cross. And the list could go on and on.
I am only touching lightly on many of these issues and like I said, the longer I look at it the clearer it becomes that I cannot look anywhere else but the cross. If I do then I am opening myself up to all kinds of different man made doctrines and Paul actually calls them doctrines of devils. Look to the cross, study it in detail, prove it’s happenings by scriptures and so on. You will see that you don’t have to look anywhere else but the cross. When I think that over the past almost thirty years I was only told that Jesus died on the cross for my sin and that was it. Then everything was placed in my own court and I had to begin to perform to keep it. What hogwash is that!!!!!!!!!!!
Again, I am not trying in any way to get anyone to change their minds on their belief systems. I am simply challenging anyone that reads here to search out for themselves what I post here. Look it up for yourselves and trust the Lord for a revelation of Himself in you. That is what happened to Paul on the road to
Damascus and we all know the transformation that took place. Look nowhere else but the cross. That’s where it happened and that’s where it was finished. Thanks for reading. I appreciate each and every one that comes here to read.
